Tonight's Snowfall Update

Good evening Long Island,

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 6PM TUESDAY EVENING

A fast moving Alberta Clipper is continuing to affect the area at the moment. We should see the steady light snow let up over the next couple of hours. Tomorrow will be an unstable day. We will see some snow showers off and on throughout the day, but nothing that will accumulate much at all.

This morning's commute: DRIVE SLOW AND TAKE IT EASY OUT THERE!! Roadways will be very slick if not icy  and snow covered in spots. Please take caution. Also, take extra time to warm up the car, grab all the winter gear, etc... you know the deal by now!! :)

Tomorrow night all snow showers wind down and Wednesday brings some sunshine and a high temperature right around 40 degrees.

Stay warm and have a safe morning commute!!
