Good Morning!
Let's Hammer out the weather and tell you what's happening right now...
The rain/snow line has set up just to the east of NYC and it's going to remain there for much of this afternoon before slowly creeping eastward. Everywhere will see a changeover to snow at some point tonight.
Winds will increase dramatically from about 7PM-9PM as this storm really gets cranking!!
Watch out for flooded roadways across parts of Nassau/Western Suffolk and points east.
But, if you're in and around NYC please be extra careful on the roadways! With the heavy wet snow falling, many roads will become slick fast!!
Right now, temperature is right around 33 degrees in Central Park with moderate to heavy snow falling!
Please remember to send in your observations! Also, keep an eye on the radar on the right side of the screen to watch the rain/snow line advance eastward to your area!
Right now, previous forecast stays the same with regards to snowfall totals. Will have another update in a little bit. If you have ANY questions, please be sure to write me and I'll gladly answer.
Have a good start to your afternoon and be safe!
